The Story So Far
I'm Alex, I'm 15 and i have been looking for a job but no one has any positions available. So, instead of sitting around and having a whinge, i decided to build hand made bottle openers as a Fathers Day gift. I have made them using the timber off cuts from my dad's workshop.
I didn't make that table on the left there, neither did my dad, it looks good though, so i will keep it there.

Reclaimed, Reused and Recycled
In 2017 the old Western Stores building on Orange's main street was closed and subsequently demolished to make way for a new development. The buildings frame was constructed using enormous Victorian Ash beams from trees felled in the 1860's and 1870's. We managed to obtain a small selection of the timber beams which has been used in some our recent furniture projects.
To ensure we are not wasting any of this small piece of Orange's history, we are proud to make our Victorian Ash Bottle Opener and share this small piece of local history with you.
